Research proposals are discussed in the council, who will decide upon execution.
How to submit a research proposal:
On 1 page A4 a research proposal is presented, including background, clinical problem, research question, concise methods, and minimal number of patients required. Both council members and non-council members may do a proposal for research.
All decisions will be made by the council, preferably by consensus. Alternatively, live or online (video meeting or email) voting is performed. For all decisions the majority of the council is required. Non attending council members can give their voting rights to other council members when apologized for a meeting. This is done by sending an email to the whole council by the apologized council member stating his absence and who has his/ her voting rights.
External experts in specific fields may be elected by the Governing Council in order to provide external mentorship and guidance. The principal Investigator will be overseen by the committee to ensure progress, offer guidance and help as required.
